TruChoice Financial Group, LLC is a financial services enterprise (FSE) that helps independent financial professionals enhance their annuity and life insurance businesses for clients in the United States. To provide these products and services, we may collect, use and share personal information about our clients (collectively and hereafter, “you”, “your”). This Privacy Notice explains our information management practices and provides information on how to contact us if you have questions regarding our privacy practices.

This Privacy Notice describes the following:


This Privacy Notice applies to personal information about you collected, used and shared by TruChoice Financial Group, LLC (collectively and hereafter, “us”, “our”, “we”) via our websites and related services. For purposes of this Privacy Notice, “personal information” means personal information that identifies you as an individual or relates to an identifiable individual. “Personal information” does not mean publicly available information about individuals.

In general, our websites are intended for use by independent financial professionals (i.e., our clients) acting in the capacity of an owner, shareholder, officer, agent, employee, or contractor of a business entity. Our websites are not designed for use by individual consumers of financial and/or insurance services. In this capacity, you may exercise your privacy rights, as defined by relevant laws and regulations. In cases where you have rights pursuant to relevant laws and regulations, we will inform you of these rights via supplemental Privacy Notices, such as our Supplemental Privacy Notice for California Residents.


We may collect personal information about you so that we can process the transactions and services you request. We may also collect personal information to inform you of new products and services and to engage in studies or research relating to our business. In such cases, we limit the personal information collected to what we need for our legitimate business purposes. Further, we avoid purchasing, leasing, or otherwise collecting personal information from third parties when we know that a given third party obtained such personal information pursuant to the commission of a crime and/or unauthorized access.

This may include personal information provided on your insurance license, appointments, or other forms you may complete. The personal information we collect may include, but is not limited to, your name, Social Security number, address(es), telephone number(s), and email address(es).
  • From others, through the process of appointing you with carriers. This may include personal information about you from consumer reporting agencies and related organizations.
  • From your relationship with us. For example, this may include information obtained from you via business processed by us.
  • From data brokers that collect publicly available personal information about you. This may include your household information, financial transactions and social media activity.


We do not sell or otherwise share personal information about current or former clients with anyone, except to help us operate our business, as permitted by law. Where necessary, we seek your consent prior to sharing your personal information with third-parties. We may share the personal information we collect about you as follows:

  • With our affiliates and other third-party service providers, to process your appointment request or place business that you place through us, and to provide back-office support
  • With consumer reporting agencies, to obtain a credit report to decide eligibility for a policy or to process transactions you request
  • With our partnering firms to facilitate placing business, or providing other service requests that you may initiate
  • With management consultants, so that they can help us continuously improve our business processes
  • With state insurance agencies, law enforcement and other government officials
  • In response to subpoenas, court orders and other legal requests; and
  • As required or otherwise permitted by law.

We may also share your personal information with third-party service providers to support our business operations, as follows:

  • With research groups, to conduct studies on our business to improve the products and services we offer
  • With other financial institutions to inform you of products and services that may be of interest to you
  • With marketing firms, to inform you of products and services that may be of interest to you; and
  • With our affiliates, so they can market their products and services to you.


If you visit one of our websites, we may use first- and third-party “cookies” (small text files sent from our websites to your hard drive), tracking pixels, and/or related technologies to help us understand how our visitors interact with our websites. Cookies, tracking pixels and related technologies help us to recognize repeat visitors and improve the functionality and effectiveness of our websites. In limited cases, we may use cookies, tracking pixels and related technologies to gather information about you. If we discover a breach of the security of your personal information in our possession, we may notify you of that development. If such a notification is appropriate, we will endeavor to do so as promptly as possible under the circumstances and, to the extent we have your e-mail address, we may notify you by e-mail.


TruChoice may retain your personal information as necessary to fulfill our business purposes, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.


TruChoice does not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from children under thirteen (13) years old. We ask that any person under age 13 refrain from using our products and services. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child, we will take steps to delete the personal information as soon as possible.
